The newest member of the Great Family has come into the world. Another little girl. Nadine is her name. Her last name is... well, I have it written down somewhere. She is lovely. Red hair like ours. Her little face just lit up when I came near. She may have the sight. I'll be keeping a closer eye on her than the rest, I think. Her parents are lovely but not very well-off. Not yet anyway. I've started a fund for them and for the girl individually. I've also warned the Talamasca away from her. If she's to be raised with a gift, it will be by me and me alone. I don't want them meddling and drawing her away from the world like they did to me.
I'm expected at a gathering once more. Always something wrong. I have half a mind to not go, but I cannot turn my back on them. And Maharet would be upset with me. I have duty and responsibility. Now if I just have composure I'll make it through this mess.
